Thursday afternoon we headed down to celebrate Cardston Heritage Days with Jen and Dianne- Justin and Mom and Dad would follow Friday night.
If you have been keeping up with the blog and Instagram you know that we have been go-go-going for the entire summer. This little Baby of mine has been snatching naps here and there- but on the way to Cardston she would NOT nap. It was the perfect time and 1 1/2 hour drive. But NO she was to busy laughing, playing, crying then laughing again. However just after Claresholm it started to rain, and she caught site of the windshield wipers, dang it all, those things didn't lull her right to sleep!
The original plan was to swim at Cardstons new pool. But dang it, Thursday wasn't quite nice enough. So we took the kids to the Remington Carriage Museum. I went in elementry school- a LONG time ago, and it has changed very little. What could have been a 20 minute run through, we managed to last a hour and forty minutes. Remy helped by having her 2nd public sink bath after she poop exploded everywhere. The photo with them lining up, is according to age- and hight (almost, Conor I think Annaliesse might be a hair taller... same with Kalia and Ashliegh!)
We even did the LIVE carriage ride! On the ride, we saw Grandma pull into the camp ground to set up the trailer for the kids and I. The kids were all yelling and waving but Grandpa didn't see us. So the nice gentleman giving us the carriage ride, took us right over to him! Off the tourist path and everything, the kids thought it was great riding right up to the trailer and Grandma made sure he waved and yelled back at the kids.
We ended our chilly Thursday with a BBQ at Aunt Jens. It was nice to have a house to play at- it was windy and a chilly all day Thursday. The kids spent a couple fun hours at Aunt Jens and the BBQ we whipped together was so yummy!
