Quilting at Naptime
Lately when I have tried to quilt- this happens.
I quilt during nap time, but lately Remy and Barker have been tag teaming naptime- so I have gotten like NOTHING done.
My quilting goal is getting harder and harder.

Snapshots
Sunday dinner a couple weeks ago at Uncle Mark's- no toys… so pokers chips were the entertainment .
Remy sat in the cart the other day… Barker LOVED having her there. She was not to certian about it, people kept smiling at her and talking to her, the cart kept bumping around. Lets just say after the 3rd time of calming her down, Mommy decided we would wait another month or so before we tried it again.
I made Barker some busy bags, and this one is by FAR his favorite! Stringing pipe cleaners through a basket, who knew!
I love this pic, Annaliesse calls Barker her best friend cause he plays with her, willingly. Er, most of the time.
Cutie in a sink. I forgot how messy that Pablum stuff can be :)

Typical School Morning
A typical school morning at this house is waaay different then most.
We are so insanely spoiled to have 3 adults to get everything and everybody ready.
In fact, I really didn't want to post about our typical morning, cause it shows how easy I have it.
BUT I want the girls to remember getting ready for school with Grandma and Grandpa.
Barker and Remy get up between 5:30- 6:30 am. If they get up before 6:00 they come in our room until Dad leaves for work at 6:05. By then if Barker is in our room, he is whining he wants Grandpa.
So off Barker goes and crawls into bed with Grandma and Grandpa- Annaliesse, Remy and Kalia follow in at some point and I get up at 7:00 and shower and get ready.
The kids play in Grandmas room with cartoons on while they get ready. You ever wonder why there are 2 sinks in the master bath? Its so your grandson can play with Bubbles in one, while you get ready with the other. Right Grandma!
Then one of us sends the girls to get dressed, and Grandpa takes Barker and Remy- sometimes the girls too, depending on if they are dressed or still sleeping, down for Breakfast, while Grandma and Mommy finish getting ready. I do the girls hair before I come down, and come down for Breakfast about 7:30.
Grandpa is finishing the kids first breakfast and unloading the dishwasher, Grandma is making her breakfast and the kids are clambering for more food. So they get seconds and I start lunches, Grandpa makes a mad dash for the door, Grandma eats breakfast and when Kalia is done she reads her home reading to her.
Grandma leaves just before the girls head to the bus stop.
Barker watches them safety cross the road, while I finally feed Remy breakfast and finish cleaning the kitchen. By 8:20 the 2 littles and I are upstairs ready to play the day away!
I fear by this time next year our mornings will not go so smoothly. Lets face it, on some hairy mornings it seems to take all 3 adults to combat the 4 children- and someday I will be doing it all on my OWN!
So I will remember these easy mornings with foundness when I slept till 7:00, showered with the door closed and came downstairs to kids fed and chattering away happily to Grandma. Next year if my kids arrive to school without a lunch, or late, or crying… take pitty. It will take some adjusting to do it alone!

Haters gonna Hate
Justin and Grandma have been raging on me to potty train my boy child.
I have been insisting he is not yet ready- but what do I know?!
I really detest potty training, and I have had to be pushed to train both girls, so its no wonder the haters (Justin, grandparents and anyone else who thinks he should be trained by now) have already started pestering me.
So to please the haters I put underwear on him the other day, and we talked about peeing in the potty, practiced peeing on the potty, called Daddy and told him Barker was going to be a big boy… AND as soon as this whole ordeal was over and Mommy stood up to nurse Remy, he walked to steps away from me and peed on the carpet.
We put another clean pair on, cleaned up the pee, and after 15 minutes he says "Mommy put me diaper on."
Haters gonna hate… Mommy knows best.

7 months!
Remy is SEVEN months today!
This little girl is such a happy baby. Its like Annaliesse 2.0
At 16 1/2 lbs she is such a perfect size- with just enough chub to make her swishy adorable.
She loves her big sister Kalia, she makes her laugh the hardest.
Remy is sleeping in her crib now and WAS only waking up 2 or 3 times a night.
This last week though she has decided to forgo sleep, and chooses to torment her parents from 2-5.
Remy likes food. She is our only baby to really enjoy baby cereal. She will eat anything we give her… rice crispys, potatoes, orange drink, peas, noodles, just whatever I am serving everyone else, but mashed up.
She still nurses great. Its a total comfort thing for her too. She is so tolerant of her 3 siblings who love her to pieces. Remy is a totally mommy's girl- which I secretly love- but it still get frustrating.
She has been sitting for a couple weeks and can grab toys and get snacks in her mouth. She is starting to go up on her knees when she falls on her stomach.
She is pretty good in her carseat- but I usually plan outing when she can sleep in the carseat. She gets rather angry when she is awake and has to sit in it.
We love you sweet baby girl.

Frozen PARTY!!
Why not toss a Party for the greatest movie EVER?!?!!
Coloring tables were a hit, it sure helped that we had the Frozen soundtrack playing over and over so our little princesses could color and belt out Do you wanna build a snowman and Let it go!
Sister Court brought her bounce house over and that was a huge hit.
Hot Dogs and veggies for lunch!
And nothing says Frozen like building Olaf before we go!
Friday was a PD day for Foothill school Division, so I put together a small Frozen Party!! Well… it was going to be smallish, then it just got bigger and bigger and funner!
The girls were so excited, we talked about it for days.
Turnout was awesome- Aunt Jen came up with her kids, and Aunt Sherilyn came on over. And tons of ladies from the ward, with a couple friends showing up for some great fun.
We started with the movie and Popcorn! The first pic is about half of us- we had 50 kids and 13 adults over to party.

Water Play has been super popular lately! This day he went through 3 shirts! He finally got smart- or crazy- and put his swim shirt on :)
He picked his nose- threw it at me, found it on the carpet, picked it up threw it at me again then lost track of it. So he comes closer to my face and say "Mom I have any more boogers in my nose?"
Just reading Baby sissy a story. About Hockey.
Grandpa- what would we do with out you??
Barker sure loves Alegro- this time Aunt Lindsay rode on with him- he thought that was GREAT!
AND the other day, Reg (the gentlemen Lindsay rents land from) had a sleigh out. And he offered to take the kids on a little spin. They thought it was great!
And this baby is fan-freaking-tastic. Just saying.

Thanks High River Western Financial Group
Shout out to Western Financial Group for the OVERLY GENEROUS event on Saturday.
They tossed a surprise event for High River Residents at the new Rec Plex- on Saturday from Noon-4.
They picked up the tab for one spring program registration fee per child!
What a amazing thing! We signed the 3 kids up for Airborne Trampoline and Tumbling Classes.
The rest of the event was fun too, with face painting, a photo booth, information on community support programs and little free prizes everywhere.

Ball Rooms
Annaliesse is the kid that comes up with the FUNNIEST things.
Last Friday we met Daddy for Lunch on the kids day off. Justin asked what we were doing later and I said I needed to stop at the fabric store. The kids all started to protest when Justin started telling them about when he was younger Fabricland had a ball room. And he would play in there while his mom shopped.
The kids thought that was fantastic. Justin says "But Ball Rooms don't exist any more." and Annaliesse, completely out of thin air, pipes out "Ya, But Dad, Castles have Ballrooms!"
HAHAHAHAHA
That kid is hilarious.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner
Ward Chili Cookoff Friday night!!!
Always a Yearly Highlight for High River Ward.
This year I won- Hottest Chili Award.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
Poor Remy is really the one who payed the price :(
I tried LOTS of different chili's and sampled lots of my own as I was making it.
Poor Remy, I didn't even think about nursing her later :(
Saturday and Sunday she had such a belly ache- we went through a whole bottle of Oval almost.
