We made it!

We finally made it to the Calgary Temple this weekend!
Saturday, Grandma Moxley arranged for everyone, who could make it, to attend the 2:30 session.

We left the kiddos with Grandma and Grandpa Chipman and had a lovely afternoon at the temple, and dinner with some of the in laws! I look forward to spending time at the temple with them often!

Cause he asked- Snapshots

Justin asked me to start blogging again.

Meh.

Ok.

Apparently he and others check the blog everyday.

So here's my renewed attempt for 2013.

Yes- they are all of Brother Bear. He's been super sick this week and last, so I have been texting Daddy pics of him to show him how hes feeling. Sorry girls… next week!

Snapshots

Last year I started doing my Snapshot posts.

They are some of the kids favorites to look at. Sometime a blurp to remember something funny, or just photos of everyday life. Snapshot posts are here to stay.

As I mentioned in my last post this week has been not fun. Not fun at all. B got the worst of it- he stopped barfing on Wednesday morning, but his body is taking a while to get back to normal. It has been a solid week of holding him constantly, at times it was challenging. But to be honest his cuddles feed my Mommy-soul.

They watched movies and netflix all week on the couch, on my lap or laying on the floor. If they were better I would feel bad about it.

K stopped barfing Tuesday and has bounced back rather nicely. She is so ready for her siblings back. Here she is playing Candyland by herself. A was laying on the couch behind her, wrapped in a blanket feeling horrible. And K is calling out "A you better come play, cause I am beating everyone. If you come play you can beat me! Ok A, I will go for you and move your guy, your blue." She is such a tender soul.

This was my Friday morning. I have been recovering from the flu too, and let me tell you its hard to do when you constantly cleaning up others barf and holding sick kids when all I want to do is die. So I fell asleep at 8:30 only to be woken up to a poop explosion of the century. Brother seriously was covered in poop. After I got him cleaned he was up every 15 minutes until 3:40. He finally fell asleep and I was wide awake. WIDE. So I read a book.

I finished it. It was heart warming and wrenching.

Staying Alive

Are you wondering What new and exciting things have we been up to?

The plan was to head back to Slave Lake with Daddy on the first, to skate, swim and play for a couple days….But sickness swashed that idea. Instead….

Nothing. Not 1 thing.

Oh errrr… wait- thats a lie. On December 31 we went and saw Les Miserables with Karla and Cryil! We went to the matinĂ©e so that the kids could all play together while we watched it. It worked out great!

After the movie the girls were dying to go skating on their backyard ice rink!!
They had a blast with Holten and Jayden! Baby B wasn't super impressed he was stuck inside with me- but he was ok after a while!

OTHER Then our Monday of fun- which ended by the way in a Monday hail storm of BARF from 3 out of the 5- our week has been just survival mode.

Trying really hard to keep up with the vomit clean up, laundry and fluid intake.
Justin was the only one who survived intact.

I feel like I have been hit by a truck! I know the kids feel the same way!
