Weird..... lately songs just keep coming to me, almost un-natural like... one minute I'm thinking, speaking or doing something and I burst into silent song... um maybe my
Tourette's is rearing its ugly head.
Strange.

Thunder in the Valley.
This year- Dianne took the girls with her Thursday afternoon- leaving me and Justin a pleasant night alone
ish. We headed out to Blairmore Friday after Justin was done work- listening to the radio, laughing and talking with out interruption ALL THE WAY there. Don't get me wrong- I am so in love with my little girls, but a drive without them was nice.
Friday consisted of setting up camp (men set up while we chilled in the trailer) and then as we were getting to bed, K realized I forgot to pack her clean panties.
Ya- normally you would think no biggie... not my 3 year old- she changes panties more often then a ______ . She was in a tizzy- Grandma to the rescue. Grandma convinced her to sleep with no panties and we would wash the ones she was wearing- and Grandpa would BUY her some panties for later... sheesh. Good thing for Grandma's and Grandpa's saving the pantie dilemma of the year!
Saturday up and getting ready for the parade- We were all wondering when the parade started- so my little bro Mark decided to take matters in his own hands and just started informing people it started at 10! So we rushed around getting ready- show up at the route and discovered we were a hour early.
Oh well. Good thing camping is a relaxing sort of event.
Chilled at the park for a while then headed over to get a spot.

A parade is a parade.
But this time little miss A- cleaned up.
She had more candy at then end then anyone!
In fact her bag was 4 times fuller then K's.
It helped that no other kids were beside her.
And the 3 adults next to us (un-related) who
thought she was adorable and assisted her
candy efforts.
She was even tossed a beach ball- oh heaven
help us when this blonde is older.
After the parade it was getting slightly hot- so in good ol Martin Fashion - water guns were brought out and we spent the next hour or so cooling down.
Lunch and naps soon came - and while the Grandma's and little ones slept- the older ones headed to the car show!
Now one of those is Justin's Dream Car- a Belaire 19something
Our group got split up walking back on the railroad tracks- and a couple of them got caught by the cops and offered a stern warning. The one policeman even said to Mark- "that is a jail-able crime!"
Good thing I got a photo before they got caught!
Upon arrival back to camp-the
Worseys had finally made their fashionably late arrival! ha ha Just kidding, they changed their plans last minute and decided to come!
The nappers were awake and we all headed to the Fair. We didn't take the girls last year- they were WAY to young, but this year the girls saw the fair being set up as they arrived on Thursday with Aunt Dianne and that was ALL K could talk about.
So we did the petting zoo, a carnie game, the roller-coaster for toddlers and the side.

Aylish -
Lisa's little girl is three just like K- she is the one sitting in front of K and A. I LOVE this series of photos, her face is so cute. Justin said our girls were going to be scared- secretly I was hoping they would be- it makes for a adorable photo, but they laughed and grinned the whole time.
It was a great day- while we waited the last couple of hours before the fireworks.... it rained. No Poured is a better word. It was crazy. One minute is was sprinkling the next minute it was like the clouds were dumping a lake!It stopped in time for the fireworks though!
This year we let K stay up for them.... not sure if we will let her next year or not. Sunday she was sure ornery. But she did enjoy them immensely.
Thanks for the great time again Blairemore!
