Sunday mornings are so nice.
Justin and I seem to have it figured out-
most Sundays-
we get up earlier then we need to.
Shhhh!! Thats our secret.
(That sounds really snotty- not trying to be... just posting my thoughts)
It also helps 1000% that Justin does just as much, IF NOT MORE, then me to help get everyone ready and out the door on time.
But our calm, endearing Sunday morning pictures DID NOT reflect our day in Sacrament Meeting.
This Sunday had a few bumps in the road, as does any Sunday with kids. During Sacrament Justin was trying to get Barker to turn around and face the front, while the deacons were passing the Sacrament. He reached over to pick him up and turn him around when Barker started laughing, like out of control giggling LOUD. Justin must have grabbed him in the wrong spot and it took Justin a few minutes to get him calm.
Then not 15 minutes later, just before Laura and I and 4 other women got up to sing, Barker was bugging Remy with her blanket. He kept putting it on her head and she was not enjoying it. So I reached over to take it from him, he quickly balled it up and threw it toward Justin- It flew 7 feet in the air, and floated down like a kite. Seriously. It was one of those light weight muslim blankets... Justin had to stand up and grab it out of the air.

It floated down ~~billowing out like this pic |
To make it worse, we were sitting 3 rows from the front, dead centre. I was mortified, and I looked up at the bishop who missed it (thank heavens) but the second councillor was laughing so hard he was turning red. Justin and I, THEN, started giggling, cause really what was left to do??
Brother Lee, a fantastic brother from the ward, with 5 kids of his own, leans forward and goes "Don't worry, it gets easier"
Sunday afternoon the little stinkers were much better behaved.
Daddy started doing origami with them and the day ended with paper everywhere and a popsicle.
