I had my 34 week check up, and the baby AND mommy are healthy enough this time to not be induced! This is fantastic news to us! With K I was induced because of a large blood clot in my uterus and with A I was induced because of her kidneys and bladder. But after my latest ultra sound things are looking really good!Yeah for a healthy baby!!The only down side- I may still have a full 6 weeks left!! ARHG! April 29, 2011

Trampoline Hair
Justin and I have been searching for a used Trampoline for a while now, then the other week Grandma and Grandpa Chipman found one and got if for the girls!! Unfortunately GandG had no way of getting it down to us, and so while they were on vacation we made a little afternoon trip to pick it up in High River. We hadn't told the girls what they we were picking up, but once we told them- their faces were excellent!!We even took it one step further and stopped at THE Candy Store in Nanton! Justin has been waiting a full 27 YEARS to stop at that store, and he finally did it. Honestly it was pretty cool, the displays and the choices and the Wilton Cake things!! The girls each got to choose a pez and lollypop each- and in hind sight I think this made the ride home even longer!
The girls were super excited, hoped up on sugar and could hardly wait to get home, in fact... they were so excited they were horrendous on the way home. So Mom and Dad switched drivers and Daddy entertained them with a "party" for the rest of the ride!
We pulled into our backyard at about 6:00 and got the trampoline set up fairly quickly- even with the girls "helping"! It was so cute, K kept dancing around and saying "Thank-you Grandma! Thank-you Grandpa. I Love you!" The tramp has been up for 3 days now, and the girls have been on it NON stop! In fact they both have been sleeping like rocks, its great this trampoline is wearing them out!! Another BIG thanks to G and G Chipman!!
So Next day, we had a hair party at our house. Meaning- 17 people and 11 of us had our hair cut or dyed!! I'm sad I didn't get a pic of everyone who got their hair done, but the house was kinda a revolving door... people in and out constantly and kids everywhere!!Love the "line up"???
I have been meaning to give K's hair a trim for a while now, and when she saw my hair in foils she seemed ready and willing to go a head with her hair. Then once I tried to get her to actually sit down for the cut she started to cry and get upset. But FANATIC JESSICA stepped in and managed to get her to do it.
Once Jessica got started K grinned from ear to ear the whole time. It was so cute! He hair didn't go through a big change but she got 2 inches off and layers put in. It sure makes her hair fuller and look thicker.
As K was getting her hair done A kept saying "me hair, me HAIR" this coming from my child who loves having her hair done and is very particular about her looks. A didn't need her hair cut- but Jessica sat her down and put the cape on her and pretend... and A was as happy as a clam!
This little blonde lady-face has me a little worried, already conscious about her hair, looks and clothes- she's 2!!

Here are some of the girls that got a hair cut! It was regular party- I am telling you!
Amelia- I missed getting a photo of you!
TJ- I missed your trim too
Miles- We were cooking noodles
Shannon- Cheese ball I was eating I missed you too
Tisha- I should have got a shot of you with your hair being dyed!
Here is Mommy- with her hair done. I have to be honest- at first I was so not sure if I liked it...
BUT after having my Justin tell me he likes it, and after doing it myself this morning, I really like it!
This frumpy mommy feeling is almost gone- not quite gone, but that will happen in a couple of weeks or so.
Oh and can I just say I HATE having my picture taken by myself and as a close up!!
But I am really liking the blonde-ness in it. I even put on makeup today!
Here is the pile of hair that 9 hair cuts produce! It was crazy- Jessica had such a long day! I am sure her arms felt like dead weights last night!
Oh and you should have seen the house yesterday! TALK about DISASTER!
So special thank-you to Justin for cleaning the basement, while I ran off to a RS meeting!

Easter Weekend-Part 2
The Easter Bunny paid us a visit. The girls were delighted- from sunglasses to stickers! It was hilarious how many questions K had about the Easter Bunny.

Monday we attended Gilbert's 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt. It was so fun, luckily the weather was +15, with a little wind. It was really nice to hang out with Friends and their kids. We do couples parties all the time and game nights, but its fun to see everyone with their kids!
We started off with some fun egg crafts, did the easter egg hunt, had a fantastic BBQ lunch and decorated cookies!

Oh- Amberlee brought the BEST Potato Salad... like the BEST!!
In fact funny little story- On Saturday Night Justin made dinner for himself and the girls. He made Chicken Alfredo, gets out the pasta and cooked 1lbs!! A POUND of pasta for him and the girls... LOL. Sunday morning when I looked in the fridge, I just started to laugh. So for my salad I made Simple Pasta Salad.
Cooked Pasta, Cherry Tomatoes, Sliced Cucumber, Olives, Feta Cheese and Greek Salad Dressing. Yummy!
- Why did the Easter Bunny come during naps?
- Where does the Easter Bunny Live?
- Did he go see everyone?
- Did he come cause I was a good girl?
- Does the Easter Bunny live at Spring?
She asked questions all afternoon, pretty much the same ones over and over again. She is such a curious little girl!

Easter Weekend- Part 1
Grandma Moxley and Aunt Sherilyn came down from Calgary for Good Friday and Saturday. We spend Good Friday at Aunt Kim's house- We made buns first thing in the morning!
The girls "helped" and the buns turned out fantastic! After Lunch we moved onto Decorating Easter eggs,
I would love to say it was lots of fun- But we do if for the kids.
Thank goodness for garbage bags!!
The girls really enjoyed the egg dying and Mommy was more then happy for us to do it at Aunt Kim's this year!
Aunt Sherilyn even brought down Sugar Cookies for the kids to decorate!
Thank goodness for Aunt Kim's big Kitchen, so everyone could fit! We had a yummy Turkey Dinner Friday night and then Justin and I headed off to our Ward Party!
Saturday Morning we headed back over to Aunt Kim's to hang out before the Raymond Easter hunt. Mommy was feeling fine, but all of a sudden I felt HORRIBLE. So Justin took me home and he spent the day with the girls.

That afternoon was Raymond's 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt & the girls made out with a stink-load of chocolate eggs! The weather was nice and once A stopped crying they had a great time!

CIMORELLI!
Justin came home the other day, sits down at the computer- and got accosted by the girlies yelling "Daddy watch Radio's!" "Daddy I wanna watch Radio's!!""Justin gives me this look- "What are they talking about??"
They LOVE watching these girls sing- Cimorelli. K has even picked her favorite girl- the one in the back middle- Kathryn. She doesn't like the one front right- Amy. Oh and she now wants to wear her bows like the one on the far left!!
K even sings along with them! Oh how I wished we lived in Cardston where they could attend CES Choir- then eventually one day CGC and Cantrix!

Easter Sunday 2011
Oh family shots make me laugh. It took quite a few shots to get one with everyone looking,no hands in mouth or in front of faces. Oh and if I could have done without a photo of-almost 34 week pregnant mom, not feeling or looking even remotely presentable....but this is 2011 Easter. The best part of this photo is how Justin's smile kinda looks like Mr. Bean, and how you can see straight up A's nose!

Reading A
I know I just posted a video, but A was reading to her baby the other day and it was soo cute.
So far Justin you are totally losing on passing down personal interests!!

Preschool Soccer Camp
Last Month I signed her up for Preschool Soccer, all the while hoping she would take after her Daddy and NOT her Mommy when it came to sports.

She actually did pretty well. The first day Daddy came to watch and she listened to coach Spike pretty well. The best part of Monday was watching K try and put one foot on the ball. HAHA it was hilarious- for the first 1/2 hour she had to put her arms out to balance herself!!
She did eventually get better at it, but she's still a girl- my girl in fact.
The second day was horrendous. We got to the soccer field and K had a major MAJOR melt down. She wouldn't play, she was sobbing and nothing I could say would convince her to try. So after 15 mins of bawling Mommy handed a down a ultimatum. Go Play Soccer and have fun or go home for a nap- she choose THE NAP!!!
ARGH!
So we went home for a nap.
Wednesday went great. We talked about soccer all morning, K wore her striped pants just like coach Spike, and she wore her PINK sweater for good luck! She did so good!
I am glad we put K in, even though we are now sure that is soccer isn't her thing. Maybe Justin will get a girl athlete in A, but it sure was adorable when K would just say to me "Mommy, lets just go to singing class instead!" Oh you are so my child K!!

Hello- Summer. We're READY!

Pure Chaos
For Lunch we ended up at McDonald's (yes its because we are great parents and LOVE our children enough to eat there- not because pregnant Momma is really enjoying McDonalds Diet Coke) saw Dianne, Ron and Jen there.
They informed us of this Easter Children's Festival going on at the exhibition grounds.
We thought that sounded like a fun afternoon and headed over to check it out.
I kid you not-
Pure. Chaos.
There we so many families there it was crazy.
The first thing the girls wanted to try was the bouncy house. So the girls and I waited in line for 20 minutes while Justin stood in line for Face Painting. The girls jumped around for like 2 minutes before getting out- so we went over to get in line with dad. After not moving for 20 minutes MORE I convinced K that she didn't need her face painted!
So we did the petting Zoo- at least K did the petting Zoo. A was scared of the animals.
The picture of the Shrek crowd, this is probably only 1/3 of how many people were there!
Next we stopped at a train car and a play house with a tea party happen'. Oh and we had some FAB homemade Root Beer.
Sat in a Fire Truck and did Bean Bag Toss and Fishing. Now here's my problem with this years CHILDREN'S Festival.
They had all these activities, but did not give out prizes for various reasons.
For the Bean Bag Toss they had to get 2 bags in- regardless of age and only got 1 shot. It sounds reasonable right, sure if the kids got a couple tries.... but 1 try per kid. And the Women in charge was defiantly NOT kid friendly- she was rather rude and grumpy.
At the Fishing hey would only get a prize if they caught a "special" fish. Try telling a 2 year old, that her sister got a prize but she doesn't get one cause she's NOT SPECIAL???
We did have fun, and the girls did enjoy themselves for the most part... However we did end up leaving with 2 girls having a melt down. We thought we saved the bikes for last cause the girls LOVE bikes. So we go over to the huge obstacle course put on by the RCMP get them signed up- waited in line for a helmet and when it was finally our turn the girls would NOT cooperate. All they had to do was show that the helmet fit. K was first, and she would NOT do it... all she had to do was shake her head, if she didn't she was not allowed on a bike. She refused.. so Justin took her out of line and we gave A a try. And surprise surprise she had to copy her sister and be just as stubborn. So we left with 2 screaming little girls. They passed out in the van almost instantly. I would love to say it was Fantastic but honestly it was a gong show. Maybe next time we try something of this nature........ it will go better??!?!
