HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY BARKER

Another year older and wiser too!!
Happy Birthday BARKER!!

Barkers favorite food right now is Cheerios.
He weighs 34 lbs and still sits in a 5 point harness.
3T pants and 4T shirts and size 9 shoe.
He likes his hair done in a mohawk just like his helmet.
He has horrible teeth, big part because he sneaks candy like a little thief.
He eats great but not a big fan of green veggies.

His favorite toys are his Basketball hoop, skateboards and his baseball glove.
Jake and the Neverland Pirates- he is all about Jake lately.
He still naps most days, anywhere between 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
He is potty trained, but not at night.
He sleeps with his Woody doll every night.

He is ridiculously stubborn.
He loves his little sister Remy more than anything.

May 2014: Barker on his Birthday morning. This Birthday morning was a wirlwind. Justin started building our first self build in High River- so Barker got his presents first thing in the morning! Then we spent lots of the day at the new house watching.

June 2014: The girls last day of school. We are waiting for them on the front porch for them to get home- so we could party!

July 2014: We were in Magrath for cousin Derek's wedding reception. Aunt Shawna let the kids play in the pool while the adults went through the line up!

August 2014: Bike rides are a very big part of our summer days.

September 2014: Barker at our family pictures. He wasn't super excited about smiling for long periods of time... but he did it.

October 2014: Kayben farms. A great place to spend warm Fall days, this great trip was with our cousins!

November 2014: Getting a trim from Grandma. He is making faces at himself in the mirror. Love these 2 pics.

December 2014: Christmas Eve. Playing a new game from Grandma- it got pretty intense.

January 2015: He wanted me to take a funny picture of him. Another one of my favorites from this year of him.

February 2015: The day we got Big Hero 6. We watched it 3 times that day. He loves that movie.

March 2015: We had a couple great days in March. Slurrpies, bikes, afternoons in the sun- THIS picture he got his finger caught in the sliding door.

April 2015: We were so so close to finishing the new house. Every adult was overly tired- we headed out for dinner. Where I finally got him to show me (so I could get a pic) how old he is.

May 2015: Barker got caught playing in foam... and it was everywhere.

Kitchen Table DONE!

"WE" moved the Kitchen Table in last night.
We, as in, Justin, the missionaries and I (held the door).

See. Holding the door. Super helpful.

We love it. Justin is not 100% happy with it. The top is far from perfect... but thats what happens on your first try... with kids in the way... and a wife who has lots of suggestions on how to do it perfect.

Its big. Like really big. The kids all sat on the bench for dinner and Justin could't reach the end. Its also a bit tall...

The view from our Living Room window.

I am so happy with it.

I am blessed with a husband who loves me and who is usually open to suggestions when I have a idea :)

Waterton trip

We took the kids down to Beautiful Waterton Sunday after Sacrament meeting.

We hiked up Bears Hump- and the theme of the climb up was "Mommy isn't going make it." Barker must have said that 6 plus times. Justin readily agreed with him, so did the girls.

Justin carried Remy - she walked a bit on the way up and on the way down. He also carried Barker a couple times on the way up and down. But Barker did awesome, and so did the big girls. Mommy... well Mommy made it. :)

Here we are at the top!!

It was so beautiful and warm- the kids had such a good time. Laughing and talking, running around and playing, we have so much fun as a family!!

We roasted some hot dogs for dinner and the kids had a great time playing with the fire...

God gave us families to help us become what He wants us to be
This is how He shares His love, for the family is of God.

Our Kitchen Table

See that wood?
Its is our new kitchen table.

It took Justin days to get it sanded down to where it needed to be. But it now a beautiful piece of work.

I will post the finished table tomorrow!! Edited: we put another finishing coat on the top Tuesday afternoon. Hoping to bring it in the house Thursday night! I will post the finished table ASAP

Still going strong.

The weather has been beautiful lately!
We may have moved into our beautiful house, but we are still not finished.

Justin has been working like crazy- trying to finish our dinning room table, get the garage shelfs built so we can move the rest of our stuff out of moms garage, siding still needs to go on the house and the back deck isn't finished.

So the kids and I have been doing lots of errands solo lately.

BUT want to know THE BEST part about living here while Justin works to finish?!?! We still get to see him while he works!!

We open the garage and the kids play on the driveway with bikes and scooters and skateboards.

Snapshots

This big Sister loves her little Sister.

These 2 little ones fill my days.

We took the kids swimming last Friday afternoon. The girls didn't have school, we even saw the Lieshmen family!

Remy somehow fell into a pile of slivers. Luckily she held bone still while Justin picked them out.

Family movie Sunday evening was great. EVErYTHING IS AWESOME.

Lots of trips to IKEA lately for odds and ends.
