I love you Brother. You make this family whole and bring such a sweet sprit.
I love the way to cuddle and the way to talk yourself to sleep.
You toss your head back when your frustrated and give this great nose wrinkle when you pout.
Your teeth hurt lots and lots when they are coming in, you get a fever and your super grumpy.
Porridge and carrots are you favorite foods, but not together. You have this thing, when you drink your bottle to fast you barf. Its not that fun.
You LOVE to be outside. Playing in your car, the dirt, grass, sidewalk chalk, the wagon, the park and little rocks.
You still hate getting your diaper changed and even more getting dressed. You have 4 teeth and hopefully those 2 that are trying to poke through do so soon.
You are walking and even are trying at times to walk fast… mostly you fall and squeal but you try anyway.
You love to be chased but slowly. Your super ticklish and love to snuggle naked.
You can play shy, but usually you will walk right up to anyone, touch their leg and smile at them. If you bribe him with food, your chances of being his friend increase.

Loads of Love

My new little craft group has its first demo done!!

and pssssssst I love it!!!

The ladies voted on the Laundry sign so I got the demo done yesterday!!  I am sooo keyed up to do it again!!

I should have done the black layer darker, but my loss will be others gain!! Although I do need to point out, the light layer of black I did do, took like 4 coats of white to cover….

See you all June 7th!!

Sharpen

I know all babies help with the pain by scrapping their teeth against things.

It just seems to me that MY children do in on furniture.

Brother did on on Grandma and Grandpa's new leather ottoman.

See his face when I caught him…. I made him stop… he was furious!

K did it on our windowsills in our 3 month old house!!!

A did it on our new bar stools.

Someone please save me, tell me yours teethed on somethings like this too??

While I am on this trip down memory lane, we got renters for June 1, empty nesters…. they are planing on being in our house for a year- perhaps longer - so they are painting our house…

Goodbye Brothers room he never slept in.

Goodbye sisters room, pink and green and memories.

I guess if we move back  we move back we get to re-decorate… sniff… right?!??

Granny Awards

K was in her first school play last week!!

The Granny Awards.
The concept was that Granny was retiring. She had been in many successful fairy tails including Red Riding Hood, Snow White and Sleeping Beuaty. So everyone honored her by singing songs and giving out awards.

The preschool class was in the opening number and they did a commercial.

It was so dang cute. I know everyone says that, but I still think she is so dang cute.

Brother passed the hour and half away by walking around and meeting people. Almost all people thought he was adorable, but the little boy in the above photo was a little concerned. Brother touched his hand and he jumped back… brother thought it was a game so he laughed and did it again. Luckily the little boys dad laughed and he relaxed right away.

Little A thought it was fantastic. She yelled and wave at K, she squealed with delight when Cinderella came out, she was scared of the big bad wolf, she danced around to the songs, and she talked about all Princesses as she saw them.

Can you spot K?? The opening number after they sang. It was so cute, it took like 5 minutes for everyone to get on stage and ready for the song, then it took another 5 minutes for everyone to wave to their parents (at least 5 times) and then the song, then repent of the waving and exit.

From left to right its K, Mason, Lacey, Riker, Nathon.

Here is a video of the Preschool class singing the commercial.

Snapshots

Been busy on the computer lately- changing the blog, working on Super Saturday stuff, rental things for our new renters, new blog book and GST/TAXES.

Been stalking this quilt for a couple years, someday I'm gonna make it.

I eat these at night when I am by myself… which is 75% of the time…. they are yummy.

Grandma and Grandpa went away for the Long weekend and surprised the girls with new quilts and Brother got new clothes!

Loafs of Laundry- thats what my spell check put on Facebook and Instagram.. and luckily MANY people pointed out my spelling flaws. Friends: you cant live with um' can't live with out um'.

I do enjoy myself a Cream Soda Slurrpy once in a while.

The girls have fallen in love with Toy Story lately… we watched Toy Story 1 & 2 at least 12 times on the way to, during and from Utah in March. On Holiday Monday Daddy was gone, Grandma and Grandpa in Kalispell and Mommy had craft itch, laundry to fold, shop for milk  and a MESSY ignored house to clean. So while we were picking up groceries we picked up Toy Story 3. I'm not going to tell you how many times they have seen it this week.

Name frames

This project took my day away! I got going along and all of a sudden I looked at the clock and K was suppose to be a Preschool!! SHOOT!

Aren't they ADORABLE!!

This was a project kit I got from Crafters Anonymous, thanks Kd!!
It was a great project to have the girls help at the beginning- they helped me paint their boards…. I watched supper close so that paint didn't get globbed or dripped.

After that Mommy took over- but the girls provided enough excitement for all of us, they danced around like excited chickens! I finally got them done, after being late for preschool, working super fast during nap time, and picking up pizza for dinner, but then I realized it was time to pay some attention to my children and husband who came home early, plus K had a play at school hence everything had to be put down for the day. So first thing this morning I jumped rolled outta bed and hand them hung up before breakfast!!

Selman Home

Great Grandpa Barker Selman built this house 55 years ago.
He passed away 5 years ago, so Great Grandma Selman held on to it for awhile, but eventually it was time for her to move along so she sold her family home.
So this last weekend we headed down to help move the last of their things out.

This house has been a constance in the Selman family tree for 50+ years- saying goodbye was hard for the whole family, but especially more so for some.

The wall paper in the massive living room is classic….

The kids found some costume jewelry of Great Grandma's that they divided to go home with.

The small kitchen table that everyone squished around!

Grandpa Barker took great pride in his yard and lawn, it sure was beautiful!

In the cleaning up- they even found the old blueprints!

Thanks to Sherliyn and Karla who took lots of photos all Saturday!

We will have these photos to show the kids what grandma's house was like, and Baby Brother will see the home his namesake built in, love for his family.
