Justin and I had a date night Friday night, saw the FUNNIEST movie.
My mom called that week, wanting to do something nice for Justin and I. A weekend in Waterton was mentioned, but I said that a date night would do the trick. Mom and Dad and Mark came down Friday after work, met us at McDonals took the girls and we headed off.
Stopping at Fire Stone for a fantastic meal, even though the wait was long, the food there never disappoints.
We NEVER go to a late show, but we decided to take advantage of having Uncle Mark sleeping at our house.
I wanted to go see Sanctum, but it was out of theatre already so Justin choose Just Go With It.
We haven't laughed that hard in a movie, in a LONG time.
It was stinking hilarious.
Movie Quote:"I need to go make a Devlin"
Go see it. Go laugh.
Thanks for making go on a date night Mom and Dad.
So Saturday we were going to go swimming or to Tangled.
The girls have yet to see a movie in the theatre or as K calls it "at our date", and considering Grandma, Daddy and Mommy did not want to swim we opted for the movie.
We showed up to a packed theatre and finally got settled right before the movie started.
The girls were super excited and sat really well for the first 15 mins.
A acted exactly as we thought she would. She walked up and down our row, eating popcorn, drinking everyones pop, climbing on everyones lap multiple times and jabbering. Funniest part about A: she would offer Grandpa a handful of popcorn, then right as Grandpa would reach for it- she would shove it in her mouth and laugh!! She enjoyed the parts she stopped to "glance" at, she was a 2 year old.
K did not react how we thought she would. She did really enjoy the first 15 mins, then she sat on Justin's lap for a while, then she climbed onto me and said "Mommy we go home now?"
She laid on me for the rest of the movie and dozed in and out of sleep.
Oh well, maybe 3D for the first time was not the way to go.
