Shooters

Daddy's home!!!

Daddy flew home Sunday at midnight and everyone was fast asleep when he got home. Bright and early (5am) the 2 little ones woke up to be with him. Remy laid on him for 3 hours that morning. She was so so glad to see him. Barker has not left his side all week.

Daddy is only home for a week, then he heads back up north for one more 21 day shift and the kids and I head to Kalispell and Cedar Grove, UT. We have so much stuff to do this week he is home its CRAZY!!

Monday we spent the day getting ready for July 01, running errands that needed to be done with Justin and just being together.

At the end of the day, before bedtime, we whipped up a couple of Marshmallow shooters to play with this summer.

There are a ton of tutorials everywhere, and I chose to go simple, so Barker could easily shoot it.

Beach

We passed the last Saturday of June away with a trip to the Beach with the Moxley family! The kids were really missing Daddy, so I sent a text Thursday night seeing if anyone wanted to "play" and keep the kids busy. Luckily they all came to my rescue and we spent from noon-6pm at the Beach.

This also happened to be the time Annaliesse took her boot off for good.
She asked if she could take it off to get in the water and I said Yes. 10 minutes later she asked if she could try and take a step, I wasn't totally against the idea. It has been 5 weeks since she broke it and she has been running, yes RUNNING on her boot. She took a couple steps.. and that was it. No more walking boot :)

Kalia was here... but she was off playing the entire time, I saw her for  the occasional snack and drink.

We made it :)

The last day of SCHOOL finally arrived!
It has taken massive effort for us to rise each morning this week.
The older girls kept sleeping in, and Mommy just wanted to stay in bed. But with all of us working together we got through the last week.
To celebrate tonight, the kids are having a hotdog roast and sleepover at Grandmas and Grandpas!
We are ALL super excited about that too :)

Annaliesse started out with Mrs Rhoads and half way though the year she got Mrs Salakin. Both were phenomenal teachers! She is reading at a grade One level and loves, loves loves school.

Kalia was in a 2/3 split with Mrs King. So she gets Mrs King again next year and we are both thrilled that she gets to learn from her, 2 years in a row.

PSST: Annaliesse cried all the way home from school, upset because school was over and she doesn't get Mrs. Salakin next year. Ohhhh to be 6!

Foot Update: With Annaliesses' broken foot, I have to drive the girls to school. So because we are up and ready for the day by 8:10 the little ones and I have been stopping at the park! We have spent most of the last 2 weeks playing from 8:30-11 at the park or ridding our bikes! It was been so so so nice. We are so so so looking forward to summer with the big girls too!

We also pick the girls up from school, which means heading over there about 2:30. With all this new driving and beautiful weather our adventures have been at the park and bike rides..

Justin comes home Sunday at midnight- here are the pictures I have been texting him while he is away.

Typical #mommylife day. Except Justin surprised me by sending me "I love you and only a week left till I get home" flowers via my sissta Thanks honey ❤️❤️

okotoks #paradechasers today!! The kids are watching Barkers and Kalia balloons float away. Kalia knocked them off the chairs as she walked by. Luckily there was minimal tears.

Even with her walking boot- this kid was ready for candy :)

Remy is getting new teeth while Justin is away. We took this picture to show dad her newest.

Kids sining on Fathers Day. We had some very upset littles about Daddy missing it. Mommy took a picture to send it to him. It stopped the tear flow.

Annaliesse got invited to a princess superhero party. We don't have any girl super hero costumes... so she went as CinderellaSuperman :)

One of our Bike Rides. This bike ride Barker hit a parked truck and Mommy hit a fire hydrant with the bike trailer. Turns out I hooked the bike up wrong...

Spring/Summer kit and vinyl

Been doing some more crafting lately.
Last week, it was sports day at Spitzee. Considering Annaliesse's walking boot, I kept her home for the day. The little kids loved having her to play with, and they all played so happy downstairs for most of the day. Perfect time to work on a craft, I was suppose to finish for April 10 :)

Then my good friend did some vinyl for me, and I got it put up :)
I loves it.

Cap drama

Last week Kalia lost a cap.
She lost it because the tooth had become infected.
So they gave us some Antibiotics, and scheduled for tooth removal 4 days later.
We go in... and it was disaster. They froze her and gave her nitrous. But she cried and screamed and bawled and bawled.
Lets be honest. Mommy was very frustrated. I didn't realize how much pain she was in until I saw her black tinted gums.So they gave her more antibiotics and booked her back in for a week later. She ate soft foods or nothing for 2 weeks. She was on Tylenol and Advil constantly. Up in the middle of the night crying and crying on and off through the day. It was horrible.

The 2nd round antibiotics worked and we went back to get her tooth out.
I was worried, stressed and frustrated, she couldn't eat and was in constant pain.
BUT they got it out!!!
And she did awesome. After they pulled it, and the dentist had left, she asked when they were going to pull her soar tooth out. :)
Relief.

She was pretty swollen for the rest of the day, and soar for the next 2 days. We head in for her spacer on Tuesday.

Remy has decided she LOVES hats.
Barkers hat, Kalia's or Annaliesse, maybe hers, but usually Kalia's hat.

I took the kids down to Raymond last Saturday for a family dinner, the kids had a great time playing all afternoon. Remy was actually pretty happy with all the commotion and only got overwhelmed a couple times. In this pic she is trying to put her hand down Barkers shirt, rather then mine. And he is super ticklish.

I ran out of diapers on Monday. The swim diaper worked till the Walmart checkout stand. Then she wet through and ended up in a new diaper, and nothing else, on the ride home.

My summer pet peeve. All Day. Every Day. I hear, Mommy can I have a freezie?!?!
That is what he is whining in this photo.

Barker and Remy were playing stickers and Barker found these masks in the box. From that point on we played stickers while listening to Phantom of the Opera!

The kids were up at the buttcrack of dawn this morning. Upside, after we were all ready and the kids were playing before school, I caught this photo of Kalia reading to Remy. Oh. Bless.

3 dresses in 45 minutes

I took Remy with me to Saturday night Stake Adult Session. I was singing with a group of ladies a prelude and opening song. The other kids went to Aunt Sherilyns but Remy had spent lots of the day crying so I just took her with me.

I got her dressed 45 minutes before we left.

I had to change her 3 times... before we left.

Don't be fooled by her face.

Mini House tour.

I wasn't going to post photos of the finished house until it was completely completed.
You know, with pictures, accents and side tables.
But with Justin gone for the next 2 months (home for a week in between) this is as finished as its going to be for a while.

Master Bedroom.

Yes I realize the top 4 photos are stock photos... I will get them changed... soon.

I am also hoping to get a white duvet cover... I feel it would go with the room better. Meh. It will come.

Remy's room still needs pictures and "remy" letters.

Barkers room needs pictures and skateboard shelves.

Kitchen from the back door.

I need more color through the house, as accents. Like above the fireplace and in the kitchen. It will come.

Also I should have turned the lights on upstairs. Whoops.

Toy Room at the bottom of the stairs.  Its usually way messier. You get to see it on a good day :)
Lets keep it real folks.

See that big blank space on the wall. Thats where we are going to put something to display the kids art projects.

Family TV Room, looking in from the toy room.

My craft room still needs a desk put on top of those 3 white shelfs. It will happen this winter hopefully.

The girls room door is right by the white bookcase, but it is messy and not decorated at all. That to will happen this winter.

There you have it. Most of the house in all its unfinished glory. I LOVE it. I feel so blessed every time I unload the dishwasher, sweep the floor, unload groceries... honestly all the time. I am so lucky to have a husband as dedicated as he is. He has worked so hard for us this last year... the last 4 years since we moved up to High River in a whirl wind. Our life was on a completely different path 4 years ago, and he has not stopped working and putting his whole self in everything he does, since it was turned upside down. As hard as it was to change our entire life, adjust our goals and plans, I am so grateful we did it together.
