Bike Rides to the new house

After being out of commission for almost 2 weeks, the little ones and I are taking FULL advantage of the nice weather we have had!

Bike rides to the new house is one of our favorite ways to get out a stretch!

Daddy has been working hard on the widows and trim, getting ready for the kitchen to arrive next week!

Jan Craft Night- Arm knitting!

January Arm Knitting was SO FANTASTIC!

Almost everyone went home with a beautiful done scarf ... its been a week and quite a few of them have already made another one! I made another for Mom on Saturday!

Huge Thank you to our teacher Jennifer! You did such a good job!

Who knew how much fun arm knitting could be!

Muffin Man Justin

Kids say cute things, the other day, Barker was on a ROLL!

Barker: Mommy why are making muffins.
Mommy: Cause you like Banana Muffins.
Barker: And Liesse like muffins, and Bo-ee like muffins and Grandma like muffins and Daddy like muffins.
Mommy: Daddy isnt really a Muffin Man.
Barker: HAHAHAHA Daddy is the MUFFIN MAN! Like on that movie, with the guy, Shrek. Daddy is the Muffin Man! HAHAHAAHAH

He laughed about that for hours.

While Barker and Mommy baked, Remy kept busy filling Kalia's Sunday shoes with Ritz.

After we made muffins, I finished painting the January Craft Kit and Barker painted up a storm.

Then we got paint on his arm and the following conversation.
Barker: Mommy! I GOT PAINT ON MY ARM
Mommy: Thats ok we can wash it off when you are done.
Barker: Mommy I just like Uncle Miles!!

PS. Uncle Miles has tattoos on his arm.

The girls got home and wanted in on the action...

I finished up the January Kit and made dinner. Great afternoon!

Snuggle Week

Its been a long week of sickness.

Annaliesse has croup too.

Remy is teething and has a AWESOME fat lip. How dare that window be in the way!

So far one of her molars came through- but we are waiting on the other 3... she is pretty grumpy.

This week has been renamed Snuggle Week

Grandma's Floor

With all four kids sharing a room, we had to get inventive for nap time. So for the last 2 years, since we moved into this house, Barker naps on the floor of Grandma and Grandpa room. He used to sleep on their bed, but when he started potty training, we put him on the floor. It actually works out great, the room darken shades help him sleep like a rock!! So many changes to happing soon. PS he sleeps in Grandma's room because Mommy and Daddy's room is SOOO bright! Like really really bright, the dark out curtains in Grandmas room, rock!
