SL

Well we arrived alive and just a tad worse for wear!
Brother did so much better this trip- the last 2 times I took the kids to Slave Lake he cried for the last hour or so... like loud-mad-get-me-otta-this-blasted-car-seat cry.

This time the drive was almost relaxing. The girls watched movies, Brother slept or played with toys, or drank 5 bottles... thats right, I kept him milk drunk and I listened to a AudioBook.

We have just been chilling since arriving.
Swimming, playing at the park, watching movies, beading, play dough, a LOT of coloring, naps, softball and bouncing in the bounce house!

On a remembering note- A is going off the diving board again!!
She did it at the beginning of last summer, then she became scared for some reason... so now- a year later she is jumping off again! Why you ask? The pool up here has a Dora Life Jacket.
All of a sudden she is doing the rope and diving board just like her big sister!
I really really need to get them in actual swim lessons... soon soon.

PS No photos of us swimming- Mommy has to be in the big pool treadding water, and Daddy is with Brother. As good as Daddy is, there is no way he can manipulate a camera and a 13 month old runner.

Tonight we are going swimming again and then tomorrow we head home after Daddy is done work- so we can head to Raymond Saturday for July 1!

20:10:20 Hail

20 minutes to set up.
I kid you not, my lungs were on fire!

10 minutes of freezing cold play.
In the their defence- it WAS +27 and all of a sudden- during the whole lungs on fire-blowing up the swimming pool- thing it dropped to like 19 with no sun and wind.

20 minutes of meltdown freezing crying children.
Super warm jammies, blankets and a bottle.

So I get them all warming and suddenly its hailing!! We missed the hailing by 20 minutes. Then I had to run into the hail to save the stupid pool! I am soaked. Soaked.

Seriously no dull minute at this house!!
I LOVE MY JOB.

Goodbye Preschool

Oh. Last Day of Preschool.

When K woke up in the morning, Grandma goes "Its your last day of Preschool!!!"… there was almost tears.

Oh little guffer.

When we picked her up we made sure to be  super happy!

We surprised Mrs. Herr with a little Thank you and had her sign K's School Book. The book"Oh the Places you'll go", each teacher will sign it and she will get it when she graduates… in a MILLION YEARS :(

K can now recognize her numbers and letter.
Write her name and the alphabet.
Do the monkey bars.
Sing the Letter Land songs.
She is very excited to learn and preschool was definitely the right choice!

Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day to Justin and Grandpa!

I have been so blessed to have a husband like Justin- he is a wonderful Dad, he loves me, and he honors his priesthood.

I also have a fantastic Dad who does so much for me and who is still teaching me everyday.

Love you both more and more each passing day!

Business in the front, Party in the back.

It was fun to kiss and feel it like fluff on your face.. but it was getting to long- time for
His first hair cut!

Justin didn't want to cut it, but the locks had to go.

Grandma started doing it on top of the car- but we found it worked better IN the car.

Brother in his cuteness.

Now he looks like a little boy!
He is sooo adorable.
His first haircut was a smashing success!

A had another check up. She needs a x-ray and another renal exam.

A stepped on a nail (0r so we thought), daddy got… um concerned. He was more upset then anyone. He took over and did the whole bandaid, ointment, kisses and hugs thing.

Laura wants to be like her big geeky sister… me :)

Friends come in jars… in case your wondering.

The girls LOVE SYTYCD. They dance along. In my way. We rewind and watch each dance like 4 times… luckily our cousins watch it too so we get to talk about it!!

Crafting…

Took K to school the other day. Like this.

One of the signs that was made at craft night! They all turned out fantastic!

What does a car say?

We have been working on this for a week or so- but of course Daddy got him to do it.

Brother what does a car say?

Then Justin just said Uh Oh and all of a sudden Brother started doing this.

Yes- home movies… sorry but I think he's adorable.

12 on the 12th

Somehow I forgot May 12 on the 12th.
Whoops.
So here's June's 12 on the 12th.

Daddy is home this week. He is working like crazy trying to get the house re-sidded. In truth- I am not all that excited to have the house finished. Cause all that means is no more weeks with Daddy home.

First thing in the morning the kids were outside. It was like nine in the morning and we were out full blast playing ballerinas dancing in the bubbles.

We ran into Okotoks to pick up a few things… A wore her helmet the whole time. 3 years ago you would never see me walking though Walmart with 2 dirty ballerinas, one with a helmet on and a baby with no shoes..
Meh….Times change.

On the drive home we lost our back window. Seriously we were just driving and the window flew away. Ya- so pretty much seven hundred dollars just flew out the window. :(

Some of our supplies from Okotoks were for a giant water bubble.

The kids played on it ALL DAY. They cant wait to do it again.

While daddy worked on the house and the kids played on the water bubble, I made bows, and read stories, and cleaned and got snacks and drinks, kissed boo boos, changed diapers, started dinner… you know Mom stuff. Really I only got 1 bow made ALL afternoon cause everything else just needed my attention.

Aunty Laura came out to surprise the kids! They were so excited to show Aunty the bubble and their games.

Getting ready for dinner, and Brother needed a quick wash down before he was even ready to eat.

Grandpa can BBQ AND help side the house. He's totally talented.

After dinner the girls enjoyed a popsicle and getting their toenails painted. Brother got in the way as often as he could.

After a great day of playing outside- and getting the kids to bed super late… we chill-axed in the best way possible.
