T Shirt Dress

I found a great blog the other day, and saw the most fantastic dress idea with old T-shirts. Ashley over at Lil Blue Boo has made many dresses out of old T-shirts, like here and here.

Anyways I bought the pattern from her and today I made K a little dress to wear. It's unique and different, I happen to think its adorable. I am sure after I have done a few more, they well just get better. Next time I will make it shorter, I was thinking longer is better... but I went TO long. Oh well, practice makes perfect!

Please excuse the crying, A kept getting the picture and that was too much for her to handle!

So if you have any old shirts, PLEASE send them my way!

Well what do you think??

Sounds Like Life to me.

How about a post on nothing, but everything?
Just some pictures of being Moxley and what WONDERFUL things we are up too!

My lovely friend and visiting teaching companion, Dawn, recently took up crocheting. She blogged about it and I had to have one for my girlys. So I roped her into making one for my girls, and I cant get over how cute it is! I mean really! Have you ever seen such a smile!

We recently went to McDonald's for supper, on our way to swimming! It just so happened that RONALD MCDONALD was there! As you can see Kalia was not too sure about the whole thing, so Ronald was popping in and out of the picture, trying to get a good shot, without her bursting into tears! Oh and now, every time she see this picture she talks about Ronald, its rather funny.

My parents stopped by last Saturday for a quick visit last Saturday and we trimmed the girlys hairs. Grandma cut 1 inch off Kalia's to make it healthy and just trimmed Annaliesse so it was straight across. They did really well, Daddy hung out to keep them still and I just watched.

And what do you get when you feed a 1 year old tomato soup? Well.... this. My sister-in-laws Krista and Karla came down 2 weekends ago and we all hung out and had a good time. Saturday night we attended Chinese New Year with some friends and my sis-in-laws watched out kidlets. I am sure Annaliesse had a great time eating... and a bath for afterwards! Thanks Krista and Karla it was a good weekend, too bad I didn't get any more pictures. :(

This last mess of photos is, just that, a mess. Just odds and ends. Annaliesse loves swimming, and she just likes to float around. OOOO....I love how Annaliesse fell asleep at the bottom of the stairs, I was having a much needed nap, and I woke up and she was asleep on the bottom stair! Being the kind and over protective mother I am , I gently moved her on to the floor. There is a photo of Lisa's girls, waiting to play with play doe, and one of Annaliesse crazy hair lady. But my favorite of this bunch is the one of Grandpa and Kalia in the closet playing.

Meal Plan Monday

Meal Plan Monday

Monday- Pasta (this means Justin is cooking)
Tuesday- Steak and Baby Potatoes
Wednesday- Tinfoil Fish with Rice and peas.
Thursday- Potato Soup... crockpot meal
Friday- Rice Mix (rice, mixed veges and bacon mixed together)

I make the Perogie Casserole like Funeral Potatoes. It is really easy and my kids love it.

Another Shirt refashion.

Ribbon. I have lots.
Annaliesse shirts. I have lots.
Ruffles and Stuff. I look at lots.

I saw this, and well.....

I have a feeling projects dealing with Ribbon and/or Ruffles are bound to happen.

Dorky or Frugal

I often find cute little things I want to print for the girls to look at: from the friend, online and Today's Parent.

However I know as soon as I print it and hand it over it is gonna get destroyed!

So I think to myself. If only I had a laminater. I know some people have them, the one from Office Depot for like 180 bucks.
Then..... I had a thought.

I have lots of the 4X6 photo sleeves that are kinda like laminate. So I found this Story of Jesus, I wanted to do for a quite book and sewed it all together.

What do you think? Dorky or Frugal?

I think this girl is hilarious, and I mean funny.

Granted, I don't necessarily agree with everything she writes about, but most of her stuff is rather funny and hits the truths of being a mother.

I rather like her Friday Confessionals.

if I was writing a Friday Confessional about me it would read....
  • reason #356 I am a bad mother- I drink Dr. Pepper and I have no intention of giving it up.... ever. Even if my children become addicted to it because of me, that's how the world goes round.

  • my dad did it to me... so girls.. Grandpa Chipman started the whole thing

  • reason #8743 I am a bad wife, sometimes when Justin has to go young men's, I complain.

  • I think the first counselor knows this and secretly laughs at me.

  • I don't care

Any ways I think this lady is rather funny. So read her blog and tell me if you think she is funny or not.

I just cant be bothered.

I have lots to do today.

I just cant be bothered.

My bedroom looks like this. Thats clean laundry.

My kitchen looks worse.

The Bathroom is not pretty, and to top if off.... the basement, yeesh.

I am watching Alyish today, Lisa's youngest. She will be playing in mess, along with my children.

Oh well.
I just have to include this picture. It was taken almost exactly 2 years ago. When I cant believe how much my life has changed in 2 years! WOW.

its only 1:07 p.m. I still have 4 hours till Justin comes home to this monstrosity.

Things I am Thankful For

Things I am Thankful for.

1. Sister-in-Laws. I got married and also got 4 big sisters, I don't know if they will ever know how much I look up to them. I love spending time with them, and hearing words of wisdom and encouragement.

2. Kalia. She is so kind, most of the time, to Annaliesse. She lets her follow her around, and get right in her face. She calls Annaliesse "Happy" and to hear her talking to her in gibberish and thinking Annaliesse understands every word, does my heart good.

3. Annaliesse. She is such a happy baby, she wants me to hold her all the time, except when Kalia is doing something that she thinks she needs "help" with.

4. Milk. It makes showering a lot easier when it is in bottles and sippys.

5. Books. Sometimes I just need a break. And a book can give me a short as 2 mins or as long as 2 hours.

6. Neighbours that are Grandparents. Looking out my window and watching Grandpa poke around outside, and running next door for ANYTHING.

7. Justin Moxley. My wonderful husband who lets me cuddle for a least 10 mins EvErYNiGHT even when he is super super tired.

Meal Plan Monday

Monday- Chicken Wings and Fries
Tuesday- Meatloaf, Mashed potatoes and peas.
Wednesday- Green Bean Casserole
Thursday- Tacos
Friday- Enchiladas
Saturday- Breakfast (Hash browns, Bacon and Eggs Mixed.)
Sunday-Steak and Potatoes

Few changes in my meal plan this week. We missed this last Sunday dinner as we went to Grandma Selmans for Turkey instead, so this week Sunday will be the steak.
As for the breakfast meal, my grandpa Chipman used to make this when I was little and to this day it is one of my favorite meals...as well as my family.

Vegas February 2010 World of Concrete

Justin was able to attend the World of Concrete last week in Las Vegas, Nevada. For his Christmas bonus this year his boss (Uncle Dale) took Justin, Uncle Curtis and Grandpa to Vegas for the business of concrete. Or something.
They had a great time, they flew out off Great Falls on February 2 and came home Saturday February 6. They stayed in the new hotel Aria, Justin said it was beautiful... well I don't know if he said the word "beautiful" but that was my interpretation of it.
So they attended the world of concrete on the 3rd and 4th, it was monstrous in size.

Justin did purchase a hammer... a really SPECIAL hammer. A really EXPENSIVE hammer. He wants to have it sleep in our bed. Its weird.

I told him to take pictures so I can scrapbook his trip. Here is him and the Eiffel tower.

A cool Motorbike. He did tell me what it was EXACTLY but I cant remember. If he tells me later maybe I will post about it... most likely not.

The treasure Island show. Justin was standing rather close and when the flames caught the ship on fire he had to step back... he said his face was burning.

Fairmont Street. Justin was not that impressed, he said he imagined it MUCH MORE fantastic.

Ok. Martin Construction is now doing concrete counters. So Justin took a lot of pictures of concrete. If you google concrete counter tops, they can look quite nice. Like here a nice one, and this one is nice.

This is all concrete. It took some guy like 5 days to do it, and after the show they were just going to smash it! Anyways it is all color and technique. It is quite nice as well.

On the last day here is Justin and Grandpa on the bus. I am so grateful for Justin and the things he does for his family. I am glad he had a good time on his "business" trip and I wish we could mange to do more for him.

Valentines Gift

I was looking for something for Justin for Valentines Day and I came across this blog, Someday Crafts.

Michelle seems to have great ideas and when I saw her not-so-spicy Spicy dice for Valentines day, I thought they were perfect.

I just did fewer steps. I found 3 blocks from the kids toys,

colored the edges with marker,

Then glued 3/4' inch paper with options on them. 1. locations. 2. body part. 3. action.

Now I need to make a little bag to store them in.

Happy Valentines Justin!

Happy Cooking.

My Life.

A day in my life.
What do you do every day?

I saw a blog a couple months ago, a lady posted a picture for every hour of her day. No matter what she was doing she took a picture, at like 7:16, 8:16 and so on, for the whole day. So I did something like that for all you who think I am interesting! LOL!

1. 7:00 am- first thing first, Annaliesse getting into things. She loves my kitchen. 2. 8:00 am- doing the girls hair. Kalia "helping" do Annaliesse's hair. 3. 9:00 am- I am trying to leave for stay and play, the girls are avoiding me cause they are playing?!? 4. 10:00 am. Kalia never attends stay and play without painting.
5. 11:00 am Annaliesse is following Kalia around at stay and play. 6. 12:00 am. Messy play, Kalia LOVES this part of the day. 7. 1:00 pm. NAP time. If there was another picture taken at this time, it would be a can of Dr. Pepper. 8. 2:00 pm. Kalia is up and coloring. Annaliesse still napping. 9. 3:00 pm. Annaliesse is up and incests that she gets a turn at coloring.
10. 4:00 Waiting for dad to come home. It was a Friday so he was on his way early, we went on a date!
11. 5:00 pm. Supper in the oven for the girls!

12. 6:00 pm. Bath is done early cause Mom and Dad are heading out.

So this is a normal day in our life. Things I do with my girls everyday day, so.... take some pictures of your normal day.

What did you do today?
