22 month old with a Ipad/Iphone

Brother Boo LOVES the Ipad and Iphone.

He steals it every chance he gets. He can get in his games and play, turn on Netflix and watch a show AND delete apps.

I was on pintrest the other night and learned the SMARTEST THING.

Go into your settings, then into Accessibility - and turn your Guided Access ON!

Once you turn it on, set your passcode and read how to use it (It will guide you right on the phone!)

I can now LOCK Brother into a App. He presses the home button- NOTHING.

I can even turn on Netflix and make it so he can't push pause or turn the volume up.

This is something EVERY one with a beginner, Iphone-nutcase, needs!

Energy levels up- Sunshine through the windows-outside playtime-general happiness!!!

We did another craft this week- the idea, see beside.

I thought the girls would enjoy doing a messy craft, and this fit the bill perfectly. Everything I had on hand.. except newspaper to cover the table- thats ok- poster board worked just as well.

They had a good time for about 30 mins.

Poor A was still under the weather during the activity, but she still had fun.

No after pictures, look at A's finished blue balloon… just imagine 4 balloons looking like that :)

Egg

With Easter coming up- and only a certain number of hours with Daddy, we decorated Easter Eggs while the kids were sick.

We drugged them up with Advil a hour before and got to work.

It was the best we could do with the kiddos feeling the way they were. They did not last long…..

It was low key and uneventful. Except Brother would only dip his egg in the dye then lift it out and color on it more. Oh well…. I was to tired to worry about it- we just cleaned up after.

Downhill

It all started Wednesday, when Brother got his shots.

It just went Downhill from there.

Fever, tenderness and irritability….. typical.

Thursday more of the same, but much much much worse.

Thursday night he was up EVERY 40 minutes. Sissy A barfed all over and was up multiple times. This is the first time, that Grandma has helped at night. Between the 2 of us, we managed- it was ridiculous.

Friday was pure (outer darkness). 2 kids, both taking turns crying, sobbing, high fever and general screaming. Justin came home early and he took Brother to the hospital.

Turns out- Brother had Foot and Mouth.

He gave it to sissy.

We were on full sickness mode for 5 days. Luckily Justin stayed home for 3 of them- Today its just A.

I'm just gonna say- LooooooooNG 5 days.

All over

Have you seen these all over the internet?

I was making supper the other day- I thought I was almost done- alas, I forgot to turn the Rice Cooker on.

Whoops.

Dinner was ready, execpt the main part… I figured why not busy myself with tomorrows lunch?

So I made up some Jello Oranges. The kids LOVED them!

A quick 15 minute, dinner mess up, turned the kids lunch into a great time!

Wood

Brother likes wood.

Chewing on wood, actually.

Its rather….. um. Weird.

Thats one of the less eaten blocks.
