A Little Brother Day.

A Brother Bear Day.

I am 3 months old today- and let me tell you- I am one busy baby- Well, I wake up on my tummy between 7-8 in the morning. As soon as I make a squawk Mommy picks me up and feeds me. I think she does this hoping I will drift back to sleep- some days I do... other days I finish then lay beside her cooing and practicing my spit bubbles until she finally gets her lazy bones up outta bed to change my bum.

Then the inevitable happens, I get attacked. My 2 crazy sister find me and start to smother me.
Honestly how much is a boy expected to take?
A likes to kiss my face with her open mouth, and as she's going for my my nose she pretty much LAYS on me. Let me tell you, heavy cute blond girl. Then there is K- she picks me up off the bed and "holds" me- switching positions- and she checks my toes for toe and fingers for lint - and then she falls over laying down and I'm on top in this upside down turtle position... it gets very maddening at this point.

Thats when Mommy swoops down out of the shower and saves me.
Then I hang out in my bouncer in the kitchen while they all eat Corn Pops then in the bathroom while Mommy and the girls get ready.. after watching them for what seems like FOREVER I start to get tired and sleepy.

So I let Mommy know its time to swaddle me tight and lay me in my swing so I can sleep.
Ahh bliss.
Wait.
Whats that?
Why am I stopped?
Little stinker A is bugging me.. I tell on her with a loud un-manly scream.

After my morning nap the girls are eating again.... so it seems to fair that I should eat too. So as soon as Mom is working on their lunch I insist on being fed. I am usually made to wait for a bit.... so I just get steadily louder until Mommy finally busts me in the chops.

While I eat the girls finish and they head off for a nap. Then I get Mommy ALL TO MYSELF!
We talk and chat for a bit, she has this funny nickname for me- Mister Sir Sir- it just makes me smile every time she says it! I get snuggled and I get a wet face from kisses. I do my favorite activity- blow some spit bubbles, suck on my hands, play with my tongue and soother After a while I start to get sick of Mommies face up in my grill. So I eat some more- it takes a lot of milk to keep up my 14 lbs self going-Then I go back to sleep.

By the time I come back around the 2 sisters are back at it.
I tolerate them "playing" with me for a bit, then I eat again.
Thats when I decide to grant Mommy the pleasure of hearing me talk.

Oh ya. I have lots to tell her. But honestly it takes a LOT of effort.
In fact telling you all this is really exhausting. Im just gonna eat again and sleep a bit more...

Alright we are moved out .... and settled in Grandma's and Grandpa's our house.

Daddy headed up to Slave Lake today, the kids and I taking it easy today. We are all exhausted - its been a very stressful week.

But maybe a bike ride to the park will be just what we need :)

Usually so Organized

Its true, usually I am on the ball.

this time last year I would have been packed and ready to move by now.

But now...

meh.

I have the kitchen left, 1/3 of the storage room left and then odds and ends. If I work all day Friday it will get done...

I know it will get done, G&G are coming on Friday night to get'r done. And I know I will have it mostly finished before they show.

But for now...

meh.

Sand Castle Competition

Last day of the Summer Extravaganza was our Beach day.
AKA. MOXLEY SANDCASTLE COMPETITION

It gets a little intense.
It starts off with the purchase of a trophy and then escalates into friendly banter then to trash talk.

It has been known to scare the youngns'

Because off all the rain this year, the beach was more like a mud pit. The sand was SO wet, when you sat in your lawn chair the legs would soon be wet.

In fact it was so dirty and muddy many family members opted out of this years competition. And other family members (myself included) watched the children and babies.

NTOE: the lack of photos of beautiful little 3 year K -now you notice- she was BUSY all week!
Off with her cousins and sitting with Aunt Krista.

For some reason some of the photos I took of all the different creations will not load.. so there are a few family entries you don't see.

It was a  long hot, fun day. We always have fun as a family and a relaxing day at the beach was great- cause that night we all laughed till our stomachs hurt.

After dinner Mom Moxley did a family home evening on Gratitude, and then we awarded the trophy and played skit in a sack.

Shut the Front Door- it was hilarious.
Getting to award the trophy to......

Aunt Kim

She was excited... and it was hilarious.

Justin had to be happy with 3rd. Kim's toilet and Jayden's and Emma's Winnie the Pooh got more votes then his Ipod.
Here are some photos of our skits in a bag.

What a fun Holiday. The girls were disgustingly dirt the whole time, ate way to much sugar and stayed up way to late. But the memories are so fun to look on, and we are already looking forward to next year!

Just a 5 more photos-  a close up of each of us getting our fun on!

It happened

It happened.
A decision was made.
Not because I made it... a phone call did.

As I mentioned Justin and I have been dreading our life changing for some time now. Ignoring it as best we could, it became a big pink elephant in the room.
So we tried to decide, but we were terrified of making the WRONG choice.
Then I just threw my hands in the air, said some prayers and said... SOMEONE make my decision PLEASE!!

Then Friday Morning I got a phone call from a friend asking to rent our house out September 1.
Oh.
Oh.

Ok.
Yup thats right folks.
And Justin is heading up to Slave lake Monday Aug 29-
so we are moving on Saturday.

In 1 week our lives are upside down.
But I have good feelings about this next bit....

Grandma and Grandpa Chipman are excited to have us for 6 months or so, and we are ready for a mini adventure.
Sure we have a few worries about this next phase..

1 step at a time- right?

But do we look THAT worried?

And we're off on our next adventure.

Coloring with Mom

The girls love to color.
Mom loves to snuggle and give kisses.

K asked me to color with her.
So I did.

I got bored so I colored her FACE!

Then sweet little A got up from her nap and got in on the action.
