Nerf Gun and a 22

Saturday morning Justin headed out for some alone time with his gun.
Of course before he could get out of the door, 4 kids were desperate to go shooting with him.
We came to a agreement, Justin took a hour to himself to shoot- then the kids and I followed him out for a turn of our own.

Barker was so ridiculously excited. He brought his gun and his bullets, just like Daddy.

I great 1/2 hour of fun with Daddy- then back to work on the house, finishing the last of the outside trim.

Sunday

Daddy is Barkers favorite person right now.
Its Daddy this, and Daddy that.
Sunday morning its adorable watching him follow Justin around insisting he does his hair and tie his tie and get him ready!

Look alike

Remy and Annaliesse look and act SOOO alike.
Its crazy. Every so often Remy will look at me a certain way or make a face or a noise and its imitate  flash back. True Annaliesse has a bit fatter face but they look very similar.

Snapshots

Last snapshots of summer :(

Our conversation one Sunday afternoon.

Barker: when I grow up I want to be a dog.

Mommy: why?

Barker: so I can drink with my tongue out of a bowl.

Mommy: you don't have to be a dog to do that.

Conclusion..

Barker: I would like being a dog. But with clothes on.

You know that Lion King song.
♪♫ I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts
There they a standing in a row
Big ones, small ones, some as big as your HEAD ♪♫

The girls ice cream cones are AS BIG AS THEIR HEADS!
They ate half of them, before melting all. over.

Had ice cream with these hooligans.

Remy stood on the paddle board for the first time!

Got 40 pints of jalapenos done this year!! YUM

And we are working with the trim still, trying to get it finished before winter sets in.

Lion King

Laura, Mom and I went to Lion King last week!

Holy. Awesome.

Like amazing. The costumes were out of this world- and the music was just phenomenal!

We got these special programs with our tickets- its a excellent memento. When I have the chance, and the kids are a bit older- this will definitely be one of the first Broadway musicals I introduce to them!

I pulled some picture off the interent- mostly from Broadway.com just to show the costumes.
Super fun night.

Party!

Remy's second Birthday Party.
A family corn bust... and we made WAY TO MUCH CORN.
Remy had a great time.
Completely spoiled.

I told her to say cheese. I got that face.

Lots of family- and this isn't all of them.

I knew we should have done cake first... she really wasn't interested in cake after her presents..

She almost stepped off the chair trying to blow the candles out.. after that she was done. The kids blew her candles out and she went back to her new babies and frozen car.

Special thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Chipman again for the nosiest present.

After our Corn bust, and presents and cake... we played a game.
A disgusting game.
Karla and Cyril brought this game to play, and showed us pictures of playing it the night before. At first it sounded hilarious and fun, it was fun AND hilarious... but totally disgusting.

The kids wanted to try first. So we hearded then all outside and let them choose one to eat. Later after the adult game the tried a couple more.... it was way funny.

Then the adults played. Seriously, what was I thinking.

A good 2 hours of laughs here. Both Grandma Moxley and Grandma Chipman flat out refused to play. In hind sight who was the smarter of the set??

Happy Birthday Remy!

Happy 2nd Birthday Remy!!

A couple things about Remy-

She no longer takes a bottle. Daddy weaned her off of it while Mommy was at girls camp.
She has a few propionate nicknames- Rupert, Rupert-de-anne, Hobo Baby, Ruitue-tutie-fruitie and Remy Roo... and a few more.
She LOVES nursery... LOVES it.
She says "Momma, Daddy and Uh Oh, more, Grandma and Grandpa and sometimes thank you. But thats it.
A soother is still constant in her life- but hey, it keeps her semiquiet.
She is wearing 18 month jeans, and 2T shirts. Size 4 diapers, and weighs... ( ADD)
In a crib still, but soon to be moved to a big girl bed.
She loves her shopping cart, and stroller, babies and little people.
Lots of days she looks like a homeless baby, her hair is CRAZY, and sometimes her being the youngest, her hair may not get done. She also get put in whatever clothes are cleanest.... with 2 sisters handme downs, lots of it has seen better days :(
She is S-T-U-B-B-O-R-N
Also she likes meat. A lot. We referrer to her as the meatatrian.
Her wave is to die for.

August 2014- 1 year
Swimming at the Cardston Pool. As I recall she was exhausted and slept most of the experience away. Camping with a baby is a lot of work.

September 2014- 13 months
This picture is the sunday after I shaved her head.
Remy's hair was just crazy and not growing. So I thought we would help the process along by shaving her head. I admit it was nerve racking and Justin wasn't super impressed. But here we are 11 months later and her hair is growing in much nicer and thicker!

October 2014- 14 months
Learned to climb on to the table this month. The month was spent getting her down and keeping the chairs pushed in. Luckily she out grew this phase quickly.

November 2014- 15 months
Cell phone love. She would go through lengths to get a cell phone. Justin was away for most of November 2015 and when it was her turn to talk she was thrilled. She would sit on that bottom stair and gabber away at Daddy. Disregarding the fact that Daddy was trying to face time :)

December 2014- 16 months
Old enough now to realize when the kids were doing Christmas Crafts she wanted in on the action.
Luckily she was still young enough to thing drawing on a Newspaper was the goal.

January 2015- 17 months
This is when she started putting on her own winter boots. January her days were filled with teething, Little People Princess Castles and putting her boots on.

February 2015- 18 months
She went through a tounge phase, where she would hold it out when she was having fun or concentrating.  I was kind of hoping it would stick, Grandpa Chipman does it, when he is playing sports. I thought it was cuter on a baby :)

March 2015- 19 months
Getting daring and into scrapes. First a head smash into the corner of the play room, and then she learned how to flop off the ottoman onto the couch. Lots of heart stopping moments for mommy this month.

April 2015- 20 months
Learned how to pose. Seriously. This baby is spoiled beyond belief.

May 2015- 21 months
We moved this month. She found this hat in one of the boxes from Raymond (4 years previous), and she wore it constantly.

June 2015- 22 months
Still on a hat phase. ALSO started letting other people talk to her and hold her. Big new world beyond Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa.

July 2015- 23 months
We traveled A TON this month. And she was a champ, traveled great, napped in my arms great, and was such a good baby.... except in the picture she had just smeared poop everywhere....

August 2015- 2 years old
Remy you are stubborn as all get.
You walked your ducky as long as you could... slowly. Until Daddy's stepped in and carried you both. You have a little fireball personalitly and you look EXACTLY like your big sister Annaliesse.

Happy Birthday Remy!

Siding

We have been working hard this week- trying to get the siding finished.
Justin warned me months ago, that by the time he got the house finished enough to move in... the rest would probably have to wait a while, till he recuperated.

That was 4 months ago. We got home Friday and he started back into the siding process Monday and here we are- with a mostly finished outside.

Believe it or not, I even helped. I painted all of the trim black that you see. Hopefully this week, he will get the rest of the trim (around the side of the house and the back) down. And durning the week I will get it painted and he can hang it back up.

I painted the garage trim on the house- but after that he took the window and door trim down for me to paint :)

I am so HAPPY to have finished front and NOT live in REDNECK CENTRAL.

Disregard the siding all over the lawn- I was to happy to a picture with the siding :)

Sunday

As much as we wanted to stay in Montana playing...
Its a good thing we came home.

Last night 3/4 of the children was up ALL night last night.
2 vomiting and 1 crying about her ears... all. night. long.

We feel like death today.
Everyone has been sleeping on and off.
The kids just now seem to be gaining life.

So for today- our Sabbath is building the Salt Lake Temple out of Lego.
