Universal Studios!!!
This was the second morning we managed to get our of the house earlish!
Come to find out the park hours at universal are 9am-7pm, we would have liked the hours to be longer. We all loved Universal Studios.
The morning did start off a bit rough, we had a grumpy Bobby and a grumpy Mommy, but we got over it pretty quickly. Biggest problem of today was that Barker couldn't ride a couple rides. It doesn't seem like such a big deal, eh? Considering it was only like 5 rides, but each time those 5 rides happened we had a upset little boy.
We split up again as we entered this park- Justin and the kids headed right to Despicable Me- I didn't want to start the day feeling nauseous and light headed so I was just waiting. We did this one right off the bat, the line was only 25 minutes and it was only going to get longer. I just wondered around getting a bit more familiar, then a staffer let us know there is a have a non moving part of the ride-
So I joined them at the end of the line up and got to do the ride with them! Pretty sweet Glasses eh!
The Transformers ride was right around the corner so we headed there next. Grandma and Grandpa joined them, they had tried to go before hand but Dad couldn't take his backpack in so he stayed out. This time I stayed out and let Dad go with Mom and Justin and the kids. I watched the bags. They came out of the ride PUMPED. They all loved it!! It was kinda fun sitting outside the exit most people, kids especially, came out with grins and chatting about how fun it was. Barker thought the head getting chopped off was awesome.
We really tried to fit in as many rides as we could first thing. Right after Transformers Justin, Grandma, Kalia and Annaliesse booked it over to Revenge of the Mummy. Barker, Remy, Grandpa and I headed over to do ET Adventure and Fievels Playland. Both of which were lame... LOL but don't tell Barker, Grandpa and I tried our darnest to be upbeat about it.
Annaliesse, Kalia, Justin and Grandma had a great time at The Mummy. It was jumpy scary, things jump out at you and Annaliesse, screamed- a lot.
FINALLY it was time to head over to DIAGON ALLEY. We met everyone for lunch and for some Butterbeer! Which was amazing!!! Annaliesse got her souvenir, a wand!!! She was so excited- we didn't get a chance to do Olivanders, the line up was just to long, and there was no way we were going to make the rest of the kids wait a hour. So she got one from a little vender by the Butterbeer place. Barker had a very hard time with this.... VERY HARD. Tears and tears and more tears.

Justin was done with Diangon Ally in record time. Surprise Surprise. Grandma decided to d0 Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts with the older girls, in the single rider line. Annaliesse liked the computer screen that they watched before they went in. Barker wasn't tall enough and instead of leaving him mad with me Justin stayed off and right then it started to rain! We had a Simi covered spot to wait in, then as it let up we dashed off to Springfield: Home of the Simpsons for Justin and the 2 littles to do The Simpson Ride while we waiting for Gma and the girls. It rained again on the they way. While Justin and the littles were doing Simpsons, Grandpa and were waiting Gpa decided to try his hand at a Carnival Game. The one where you shoot basketballs and try and get 2 outta 3 or something. Anyways Grandpa won a Basketball and Giant Stuffy he promptly gave to Remy..... we had to carry that stupid thing around all day!! LOL Once Barker and Justin came out, of course Barker had to try. Instead of hearing more crying, as he has now spend enough time crying about rides he was to small for and wands he wanted Justin let him have a go. Barker got 2 out of 3 shots and won a Basketball. Man was he proud of himself.

Off to meet everyone at Hogwarts Express- Kings Cross Station. Mom and Dad had bought Park Hoppers so we could ride this cool train and see Hogsmeade. The line up at Hogwarts Express seemed to go on FOREVER!! But we enjoyed being out of the rain and seeing all the cool props around. The train ride was super cool, but there is something to be said for the lovely sit time we had, with AC 😏😏
Hogsmeade was amazing. Everyone wanted to ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Barker, and Remy couldn't so Grandpa and I took them to Jurassic Park Discovery Centre!
We met up again and headed for Seuss landing. On the way Kalia picked out her souvenir, which if you know Kalia, was painful. She is so indecisive, shopping takes forever. She managed to pick put a purse in simishort order. Barker was feeling mad again that he is missing out on big kid rides. Justin pumped him full of sugar, in the form of a refillable slushy cup, and they did Caro-Seuss-el (Merry GO Round) and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. They did One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue fish like 3 times. IT was a ride where they twirl around have to steer their way around a obstacle course of fountains. They loved it. Gma needed the time to recover from the Harry Potter ride. She got a bit sick.

It seems like we spent a ton of time is Seuss landing, but Remy and Barker were having a blast! We left Seuss Landing and headed over to Marvel Super Hero Island. To The Incredible Hulk Coaster. Here is where we were reminded how old, yet how young Kalia is. Kalia was the only one of our kids tall enough to ride The Hulk Coaster, she really wanted to go on it, but the other kids were mad as hornets, again. SO we sent Kalia to do it on the Single Rider line. While we waited Justin took the littles on Storm Force Accleatron- a spinning ride. I stood outside the Hulk ride, with Gma and Gpa waiting and watching for Booee. Then she comes running out, almost in tears, she came running to me and started to cry.... She had waited all that time and got 4 people to the front, and she had to pee so bad. Poor Kid! I sent her pee, and then she was able to get back in line with Uncle Mark. Laura, Miles, and Lindsay who had come into the ride about 15 minutes after her. IT was nice she didn't have to wait alone again, especially since she was still a bit upset.

Once Kalia got back in line, Justin and I left her with the other adults and moved on. We had already waited for quite awhile, and she had her aunts and uncles to be with. The Hulk still managed to be Kalia's favourite ride of the day- mostly because they went outside. Justin, Barker and Annaliesse went into The Amazing Adventure of Spider-Man. It was a Giant swing, Annaliesse liked the splash that happened.
Remy was tried at this point and really didn't care to do the ride, so we stayed out, while she ran around and enjoyed jumping around a little water Fountian thing. When all of a sudden this guy came over and introduced himself- although I didn't catch his name.... he is a X man I am assuming??
After Spiderman we did Popeye& Blutos Blige Rat Barges a water ride. It really was not warm enough to be wet, and there was no sun! So we whipped out the rain coats and off they went. Justin said there was another woman on the ride who wasn't prepared and she was very unhappy when the ride ended. The kids wanted to go again, but Justin thought once was more then enough.
Skull Island: Reign of Kong next. Which turned out to be one of the funnest rides of the day. I finally saw Kalia at that point, they were one ride behind us for the last 3 rides, she enjoyed her afternoon with her aunts and uncles.
Remy didn't go on that one either, she was cold from the wet ride and spend some time covered in her rain jacket. The last ride of the day Justin and the kids did Pterandon Flyers. It looked really fun for the kids and Remy could do it too, which made it a good ride to end on.
We had such a good day. Amazing day. If we come again we are going to do more days at Universal- mostly for the big kids! Such a good day to end on! We didn't take the time to stop for super in the park, we were to busy rushing from ride to ride. We had sea food again before we left for home with balloon animals and everything. Amazing sea food to end a spectacular time in Florida.
This was a trip of a Lifetime. We had a such a lovely time, we will never be able to Thank MOM and DAD enough for this trip. The memories we made- believe it or not I wish I had taken more pictures, way more pictures.
