O CANADA day in Raytown

Another July 1st has flown by. This year we watched the Parade with the Chipman side of the family. It was nice to visit for a bit with my cousins and aunts, in fact 2 of my cousins flew off to Europe for a month so it was nice to c them before they left. As always the girls had a great time watching the parade, clapping for the horses, clinging to Grandma when the Haunted House floats by and squealing with delight when as each handful of candy was launched their way.

And shout out to AUNT GILL who I owe my life. For some reason for the last 4 years I had it in my head I wasnt aloud to take allergy pills while nursing and pregnant. So to make a long story short~ Aunt Gill (RN) and I are talking and she goes, I think you can still take allergy pills So she just calls up the DR and asks... turns out I CAN! YES!This is a HUGE deal to me. I suffer horribly from allergies, and to hear that news, I was ready to kiss her feet. No. joke.So I took one and 20 minutes later, I felt semi normal! Glorious.

After the parade we attended a Selman Family Reunion.. it was huge! It was for Charles and Mary Ann Selman Family~ that is Justin's Great Great Grandparents. It was so well done, so special thank you to Letta Olsen who did a fab job.

We had some delicious Cafe Rio for Lunch, then a slideshow of the family (really old beautiful photos), a big group picture, bouncy house, candy sling shot, ice cream, photo booth and more!!
BTW hopefully my SILs will email me the photos of Justin and the girls in the photo booth... hint hint.. :)

However, I think I got the better end of the deal... my sister in laws let me go home for a NAP. Thats right... I left my baby and family and had a 3 hour nap. Oh it was nice. The girls didn't miss me at all, and they had so much fun!
